The Metta Round The World meditation programme at the Sri Lanka Buddhist Vihara

on:  the 12th December

at:  7.30 p.m.

will be conducted by Ven. Wimalagnana of the Baddheka Vihara Forest Monastery near Balangoda. He visited our temple last year as well.

The MRTW programme usually lasts for one hour but you may want to continue discussing Dhamma. He is a young monk, in his mid-thirties with knowledge and wisdom beyond his years. He had trained under Ven. Dhammajiva at Mithirigala for a while but now has his own monastery where he leads a simple life, eating only alms food collected on pindapatha that the monks go on once a day.

He will conduct a one day meditation/sil programme at Nollamara on the 13th and a residential retreat from the 20th – 29th at the Jhana Grove Meditation Center.
