The firstAta Sil program of the DS is scheduled on Sunday the 20^th March for the children of Level 3 and upward.The program is from 8:15 am (for a sharp start at 8:30) to 4:30 pm. However, Level 3 children can go home after the Dawal Dana, around 12:30 pm. The DSPTC kindly provides the Gilanpasa (morning and afternoon) and Dawal Dana. Venarable Susara Thero will conduct the whole program on the day.

Since the children will observe Ata Sil, could you please make sure that the children are prepared for the day. They need to wear an Uthuru Saluwa over the left shoulder.  If possible, please remove their earrings, necklaces and bangles. It is a day that we all are trained for simplicity and not indulge in our usual ‘wants’.

We hope parents encourage children to participate this event and let them to have the joy of tranquil mind and spiritual development.

This is a whole day program, so it will be a holiday for our Level 1 and 2 children.
